Navigator Control

Installing Updates

  1. Download the latest version of the Navigator Control installer.
  2. If you modified any of the files distributed with a prior version of the Navigator Control, make backup copies of your modified files before continuing.
  3. The Navigator Control is distributed as a self extracting executable (program). Run the program to extract the Navigator Control files to your computer.
  4. The Navigator Control files are extracted to a folder on your computer that mimics the file and folder structure of a StoreFront web site.
  5. Check the Release Notes of the new release to see if there are any special instructions that apply before proceeding.
  6. If you modified any of the files distributed with a prior version of the Navigator Control, compare your backup copies with the new versions and merge the appropriate changes.
  7. Copy the updated files to your web site.
