Create a Connection to Your Store

Shipper communicates with your store through Shipper Service. Shipper Service must be installed and running on your web site before you can configure a connection to your store.

Select Tools > Options from the menu.
Click on the Add Store button.
Enter the name you would like to call your store in Shipper. tip...

This name does not need to match the name of your web site. It is only used within Shipper to label all the information about your web store.
Enter the Shipper Service URL. tip...

This is the web address to the folder where you installed Shipper Service. For example, http://storefront.structured-solutions.net/services/.

Enter the Serial Number for your copy of Shipper Service. tip...

If you do not know the serial number, click on the Shipper Service URL link next to the shipper service URL field. This will launch your default browser and display the Shipper Service Configuration Page. After you login, the serial number is displayed near the top of the page.

Enter a valid Username and Password for Shipper Service. tip...

You can use the Shipper Service administrator username and password. Please see the Shipper Service documentation for more information about usernames and passwords in Shipper Service.
Click on the Test Store Settings button to verify the connection.
Click on the OK button to save the new Shipper configuration.
