Shipper 3.1 is Now Available

Shipper 3.1.3257 is now available for download. This is a free update for all current license holders.

New and Improved

• New data analysis feature - Analyze your orders using the intregrated pivot table or export the data to Excel for further analysis. Available in Gold and Platinum Editions.
• New automation tasks - New tasks were added so you can automatically assign packaging, and text to any reference field. The text can use a simple template language if you want to a value from the current package or order. For example, "Order [Order.OrderNumber]" would insert the current order number.
• Support for additional e-commerce platforms - Shipping Agents for StoreFront 6.8 and BV Commerce 5 SP4 are now available.

Please see the Shipper 3.1 Release Notes for a complete list of changes, including a breaking change. Shipper 3.1 is only compatible with Shipping Agent 3.1, so you must update both at the same time.

Shipping Agent 3.1 Install/Update Instructions

Before you install Shipping Agent 3.1, please delete Shipping Agent 3.0 files from your website. If you are not sure which files you installed for Shipping Agent 3.0, download the 3.0 installer and from CodePlex and reference the extracted files.

1. Download the appropriate Shipper Agent for your e-commerce platform from http://www.codeplex.com/ShippingAgent.
2. Run the installer to extract Shipping Agent 3.1 files to a directory on your computer.  
3. Copy the extracted Shipping Agent 3.1 files to your website as described in readme.txt file.

Shipper 3.1 Install/Update Instructions

These instructions apply to both the Gold and Platinum Editions.

1. Download the Shipper 3.1 installation package.
2. Unzip the files to a clean directory on your computer.
3. Run setup.exe to install version 3.1.

Note that Shipper 3.1 uses a different database to store its configuration and local data. Shipper 3.0 data will not be updated to 3.1, so you will need to run the New Website Wizard to add your website(s) to Shipper 3.1. Please see the Shipper 3.1 Release Notes for details.
